How it works

From the first word to a shared artifact, without stopping to type.

convariance is a brainstorming room where the AI is a participant: it hears the conversation as a live transcript, thinks alongside you, and leaves the room with a whiteboard of what you decided.

  1. Step 1

Talk — the room is the interface

Start a session, grant the microphone, and speak naturally. convariance captures the room's audio and diarizes it live: every voice is separated and attributed, so a three-person debate stays three distinct threads instead of one wall of text.

There is nothing to install for the people in the room — it runs in the browser, and remote participants on a call are captured the same way.

  2. Step 2

    A live, attributed transcript

Speech becomes a clean transcript as you go — broken into readable segments, labelled per speaker, and linkable to your contact book so bubbles carry real names and avatars.

The transcript is the durable record of the session: it syncs to your account, survives a cache clear or a new device, and every AI contribution is anchored to the exact line it responds to.

  3. Step 3

An AI that participates, not just summarizes

A listening AI follows the conversation and contributes inline, fully automatically: ideas worth chasing, insights that connect two threads, cautions when the room is about to walk into a wall, and quiet notes for the record.

Address it by name and it answers directly. Give it something that needs real work — research, a comparison, a draft — and it shows a working card, then fills it in place when done.

  4. Step 4

A shared whiteboard the AI co-edits

Durable points get pinned to a collaborative canvas — by you or by the AI. It can place notes, connect shapes, and draw full diagrams of the argument while you keep talking.

The whiteboard outlives the meeting: it is the artifact you walk away with, not a minutes doc nobody reads.

Four kinds of contribution

Every AI contribution lands as a typed card in the transcript, at the line it responds to — so you can see at a glance what it is and why it's there.

  • Idea

    a direction worth chasing

  • Insight

    a connection across the conversation

  • Caution

a risk the room is skating past

  • Note

    context for the record

Bring your own agent

The deliberate mind in the room is your own Claude Code, paired to the session with one command (/brainstorm). Your agent, your tools, your context — convariance is the room, not the brain.
